About EMPLOYAI

Recruitment that works for the person being hired, too.

Most hiring processes are built around the employer and tolerate the candidate. EMPLOYAI exists because we think that's backwards โ€” a search that's honest and fast for both sides ends up being better for both sides.

What EMPLOYAI actually is

EMPLOYAI is a recruitment and workforce-solutions platform. On one side, employers bring us a role โ€” permanent, contract, temp, executive, or a whole recruiting function to run โ€” and get matched with a specialist recruiter who works that industry, not a generalist account rep juggling every sector at once.

On the other side, candidates can search and apply to open roles directly, without a recruiter standing between them and the first step. A recruiter still follows up either way โ€” including when a candidate isn't moving forward โ€” because "we'll keep your resume on file" and then silence is the exact experience we're trying to replace.

The problem we're solving

Recruitment has a trust problem on both ends. Employers get shortlists padded with candidates who don't fit, from recruiters optimizing for volume over relevance. Candidates apply into a void and rarely hear back, whether they're a strong fit or not.

Neither of those is a technology problem, exactly โ€” it's an incentives and communication problem. So rather than promise an algorithm that magically fixes hiring, EMPLOYAI is built around specialist recruiters, clear engagement models, and a standing commitment to tell both sides what's actually happening.

How we work

A few operating principles we hold ourselves to.

These aren't a mission-statement wall poster โ€” they shape how a search actually gets run, day to day.

01

We staff by industry, not headcount

A consultant covers one or two industries deeply rather than every sector shallowly, so a shortlist reflects real domain judgment.

02

We say what we don't know yet

If a search is slower than expected or a role is a hard fill, that gets said plainly โ€” not papered over with vague updates.

03

We follow up either way

Candidates hear back whether they're moving forward or not. Employers get context on why a candidate didn't work out, not just a "no."

04

We fit the model to the role

Permanent, contract, temp, executive search, or a fully managed function โ€” the engagement model is chosen for the hire, not the other way around.

What we hold to

The values behind every engagement.

Specialism over generalism

A recruiter who knows one industry well outperforms one who knows every industry a little. We'd rather turn down a search outside our bench than fake expertise we don't have.

Honest communication

No invented track records, no vague "still reviewing" updates that mean nothing. If something's slow or uncertain, we'd rather say so than manage expectations with silence.

Two-sided care

Employers are the ones paying, but candidates are the ones whose careers are on the line. Both get treated like the relationship matters past the placement fee.

Ready to hire, or ready to be hired?

Whichever side of the hire you're on, there's a faster way to start than a long contact form.
